Usain Bolt’s Mother and Family Home in Jamaica

Bolt’s mother, Jennifer, poses outside the family home in Sherwood Content, a small town in Trelawny, northwest Jamaica.  When I asked residents where Bolt grew up, their faces lit up, and they happily pointed me down a sandy track busy with chickens and cows. The small farming community in Trelawny, roughly 12 miles from the parish’s chief town, Falmouth, is proud of its most famous son and is keen to impress on reporters that there was never any doubt of Bolt’s victory.
