Musings on a mango

This was seen by me on 13.12.2016(Poya Day). This ripe mango in our garden drew my attention due to it being visited by a multitude of animals that fed on the ripe pulp.
In the evening,it was sen that only the seed and parts of skin are still hanging, devoid of flesh. All the different animals that were coming to it have deserted it,and it was waiting to drop off,all alone and abandoned.
The stark similarity of the predicament of this mango to own lives was not lost on me at that moment. Most people who come to us will desert us when there is no more use from us.It is the way of the world.Nothing to worry about, nor to complain about. One need to accept this for what it is.
