About Wildlife Zone

It is not clear what is the term “Wildlife Zone” mentioned in this article, and it could well have been an issue in translation of a word..It may be a Buffer Zone or an extension of the National Park or a Nature Reserve. These are all different types of “National Reserves.”
According to Section 2(1) of the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance, any state land can be declared as a “National Reserve” of any of the seven categories.
Since all the land in the disputed area are “State Land”, there is no hindrance in declaring a “National Reserve” in this area.It is immaterial about the type as all have basically the same type of protection given to the habitats as Sections 03,06 and 6A of the FFPO applies to all different types of National Reserves.
